Ministry

So how do you get connected to others at Hope so you can thrive in the LIFE Jesus came to give?  One of the key ways to do that is in our Community Groups.

Community Groups seek to provide a warm and casual environment where you can meet people and form friendships.  These groups of 10 - 50 people meet regularly to share food, build friendship, and grow in Christ together. Some meet on Sunday mornings, others meet during the week.

How are these Community Groups organized?

Communities are mostly organized in life-stage groups (young married couples, parents of elementary-age children, empty nesters, etc.), but these group descriptions are only guidelines. We love it when people connect across generational lines as well!  So try out a few different communities, get a feel for which might be a good fit, and dive in!

What are Community Group meetings like?

Each is unique, but common elements of group meetings include casual fellowship around food, group announcements, prayer, testimonies, a time of study and discussion of God's Word, and usually lots of laughter!  Groups also do periodic outside social activities, outreaches, and different kinds of service projects.

How can I get connected with a Community Group?

You can make that connection one of three ways:

  1. Read the Community descriptions below, pick a couple that you think might be a good fit and reach out to the leader…or just show up for a meeting! People will be there to greet you!
  2. Contact Pastor Bill Craig at bcraig@hopemason.organd he will be happy to help you get connected.
  3. Call the church office at 513.459.0800 and talk with someone directly.
