Pastor Chris Woodard

The desire to start churches around the world was the basis of the church plant cultivated by the congregation of Hope Church.  We made a commitment to begin a church in downtown Cincinnati in 2000.  The success River of Life has experienced is due to the generosity of several local ministries. Shortly after starting a Bible study in 2000, CityCURE Ministries allowed one of their staff members to serve as our Youth Pastor. JobsPlus Employment Network gave us office space, and University Christian Church allowed us to meet in their building. Because these ministries were so Kingdom-minded, River of Life has been able to flourish, drawing people from all types of racial and economic backgrounds. Senior Pastor Chris Woodard has led the church since 2012.
