Adult Discipleship

Ways you can INVEST:
- Administrative / organizational assistance (creating reports, tracking, etc.)
- Serve on a prayer team
- Host or lead a short-term small group
- Help organize or execute a special event
- Make phone calls to gather information

Generous Living
Scott Ellsworth - sellsworth@hopemason.org
Encourage and equip one another to live a generous life.
Ways you can INVEST:
- Serve as a Financial Coach
- Serve as a Financial Peace Coordinator
- Teach others as they learn what God has to say about handling His money.
- Serve as a coach to parents as they disciple their children in good biblical stewardship.
- Serve in various roles in bringing biblical principles of managing to the marketplace.
Guest Experience

Kids' Ministry

We have a place for you to use your gifts! Kids' Ministry has a variety of volunteer opportunities, both on Sunday mornings and during the week. Yes, we need teachers/shepherds but we also need people who like to cook, play games,work with technology, and provide administrative support.
Welcome Center--Greeters who are friendly, warm, and wish to assist those visiting Hope Church.
Shepherds/Teachers--Adults and High School aged people who are relational and enjoy working with children. People with the gift of teaching are needed both on Sunday mornings and in our weekday ministries. Shepherds focus on building relationships with kids and their families. Middle School aged youth are encouraged to assist in Kids' Ministry classes.
Special Needs--Adults and High School aged who have a heart to serve children, youth and young adults with special needs.
Special Events--Adults and High School aged who can help plan, gather supplies, and work at the events. Examples of special events are VBS, Family Water Blast, Bike Rally.
Administrative--Those who enjoy working behind the scenes in a support role.
Technical Support--Adults and High Schoolers who enjoy working with PowerPoint, video production equipment, sound and lighting as well as photographers.
Missions Outreach--Those who have a heart for missions outreach and would like to help with special outreach events.
Worker Bee--People who gather supplies, organize supplies and ministry areas, clean toys, etc.
Grunt Work--People who enjoy painting, building, deconstruction/demo, playground upkeep.
If you love kids and are passionate about sharing the amazing love of God with them, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you.

Ministry to Men

- Help men get connected, equipped, and become multiplying disciples of Jesus.
- Plan a one-time men's social event
- Help lead a Men's 6-week study
- Serve on the Men's Leadership Team
- Volunteer for a service project

Ministry to Women

Help women get connected, equipped, and become multiplying disciples of Jesus.
Ways you can INVEST:
- Serve on the hospitality team to greet women on Sunday mornings and/or help women get connected with Ministry to Women
- Serve on the care team and provide ways to grow closer in our relationship with each other.
- Volunteer for a service project and other outreach opportunities
- Provide Childcare during Thursday morning bible studies.
- Serve on the bible study and mentoring team through weekly studies and Partake
- Serve on Women’s Leadership team
- Volunteer for women’s social events

Operations

Assist our facilities and office staff with their often unseen, but very necessary responsibilities.
Ways you can INVEST:
- Kitchen coordinator (two - four hours/month)
- General cleaning (four - eight hours/month)
- Medical team on Sunday mornings (1st or 2nd service)
- Mowing the church grounds, weed whacking, and snow removal near entry ways.
- Maintenance such as painting, or collection of trash on church grounds.
- Sanctuary preparation for Sunday morning.
- Answer phones at the reception desk during business hours (one - two hours a month).
- Help in the office with special projects.

Pursue & Restore

Equip Hope to Pursue those outside the faith and to Restore the Broken by meeting real needs.
Ways you can INVEST:
- Read the book, God Space, by Doug Pollock and attend his next seminar
- Begin praying for your "outside the faith" neighbor or co-worker
- Volunteer at the next City of Mason event
- Volunteer at Hope House, City Gospel Mission, or Streams of Hope
- Begin praying for a Hope global ministry partner

Special Needs Ministry

Come alongside families with children with special needs and people with a variety of disabilities.
Ways you can INVEST:
- Serve as a buddy with a child/student with special needs on Sunday Morning.
- Be a part of a team that prepares and serves a meal at our Capernaum Group.
- Serve with the TOP Soccer program.
- Serve on a team that seeks to find ways to encourage and support families with children with special needs.
