By having a highly relational ministry at Hope Church, we want the kids to BE KNOWN and loved by their shepherds and friends; to know they BELONG to God and that he loves and pursues them; BELIEVE in the power of the gospel and that Jesus is Lord and Savior; BECOME more and more like Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Birth-Kindergarten
Kids’ Ministry is available both services for our littlest ones. Infants and toddlers are safe and loved while they are told over and over how much God loves them. Each week, kids and their leaders gather to explore their Bibles, enjoy fun activities, pray, and grow in faith
1st – 4th Grade
Kids’ Ministry is available both services for kids in grades 1-4. First service is large group and is usually a smaller group of kids. Second service breaks into grade levels and has a large group component with worship and teaching, and a small group discussion time. During both services, the teachings are God-centered and the kids have opportunities to build relationships with their shepherds and peers.
This learning and growing happens primarily on Sunday mornings in the Early Childhood Center and Grade School. Each week, for babies up to 4th graders, you can expect:
• Bible teaching– where our amazing God is always the focus. Our desire is for kids to know and love God personally and come to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
• Prayer – with the kids, and for you too! If you have a specific prayer need, don’t hesitate to share it with a shepherd (teacher).
• Safety– Kids learn more easily if they feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe.
