July Modified Programming

We will only have Mosaic Sunday on July 5, the first Sunday, taking into account feedback from parents and families. A Mosaic Sunday means all generations are in The Gathering services, with Kids' Ministry only available for birth through kindergarten.
We will offer modified programming July 12, 19, and 26 to enable needed respite for our dedicated volunteers. We believe in the value of Mosaic Sunday! It's important to gather generations together in worship AND provide rest for faithful volunteers in Kids' Ministry, Student Ministry, and Communities. We appreciate your patience and support as we make changes to best support the Hope family.
Here's the modified programming you can expect in July:
Kids' Ministry:
- Ministry for our littles, birth through kindergarten, is available during both Gathering services as normal.
- Ministry for grades 1-6 will be combined and available only during the second Gathering service in Higher Ground. This large group setting will have a fun, "VBS"-like curriculum.
Student Ministry:
- Junior high students (grades 7 and 8) will have Summer Crews during the second Gathering service throughout July.
- High school students (grades 9-12) will join families or friends in the Gathering services. Summer-specific Sunday events continue during July as normal.
Communities:
- In place of regular Communities, two classes will be offered on July 12, 19, and 26 during the second Gathering service. (The same two classes will be offered all three weeks). The classes will give you a taste of our Spiritual Direction offerings, with a Listening class led by Bill Craig and a Renewing Thinking class led by Gary Wilkins. We hope this taste inspires you to take the full, multiple-week classes! You can register now:
- Adults are strongly encouraged to sign up to serve in Kids' Ministry one week and to attend classes on the other two weeks. Register to serve here, and then you will be contacted to start your background check and training.
