Matthew 5:3-10
The Sermon on the Mount was Jesus' introduction to how His Kingdom turned everything upside down. Jesus himself was cursed and exiled so we could be blessed and welcomed home. This is wisdom that turns worldly values upside down, teaching us to prize what the world calls pitiable and suspect what the world calls desirable.
