Gary Honerlaw

Vice-Chair

Tell us about your family and work:  My wife Jill and I grew up in Mason and have known each other since high school.  We have been married for 29 years and have three wonderful daughters who love the lord and are growing in their faith.  Anna just graduated from Kent State and is an Assistant Designer for a bridal company and is serving in the High School ministry here at Hope.  Rachel recently got married and both she and her husband are in school at West Virginia University and serving in CRU.  Jessica, our youngest daughter, is currently at West Virginia University and involved in CRU.  I have an Ornamental Horticulture degree from Cincinnati State and have been self-employed in my own landscape business for the past 17 years.

When did you become an Elder?  I became an elder on November 12, 2019.

Tell us about your passion for ministry:  I am passionate about seeing our culture here in Mason, our country and across the globe become impacted by the transforming power of the love of God, displayed so greatly by our glorious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I want to be used by God to help make disciples of Jesus who will multiply.
